I write a lot of poetry, sometimes about things that seem to come true. Sort of like fortune-telling poetry. One time I wrote a poem about a boy who wanted to commit suicide but was stopped. A few weeks later I found out that a friend of mine (also a boy) had tried to kill himself the day after I had written that poem. But that isn't the strangest part. I don't just wing out the poems, I hear them in my head, but not in my own minds' voice.
For example, the one I wrote about my friend I heard it in his voice. Other times I write about the death of people in their voice (I think) too. Then I read about my poems online, the events that happened to people THE EXACT SAME WAY I WROTE ABOUT IN MY POEMS. Every poem I write and wrote seems to have something to do with a period of time, like the civil war or a suicide committed.
Also, when I read something, like a letter or passage in a journal I get a sense of the person I'm reading about, like some hobbies that weren't mentioned or a voice of someone I've never meant. I ask some of my friends if this happens to them but they deny it. I often wonder if I simply have a huge ego or if the same instances happen to everyone, they are just shy to admit it. Can anyone help me, like tell me I'm not a freak or crazy and this happens to everyone?
