I first saw a demolished door when I was in between the ages of 6-8.I was at my uncle's house in manchester when every time I walked down the stairs, I would see a door on a bare wall next to the main bedroom in the corner of my eye. Before I looked at the wall to check I could see every detail in the door. All the wood panels and the gold round handle. But when I did look there wasn't a door but, and here's the confusing part, a lighter mark in the paint where the door frame was.
Let me explain. You know when you plaster over a mark in the wall and then paint over it it leaves a mark where the colour seems slightly lighter than the rest of the wall? Well that's what I see. I see a plaster mark slightly lighter than the rest of the wall where the door frame used to be about an inch (maybe slightly less) thick.
When I got sick of seeing this door in the corner of my eye, I told my uncle. He said that there did used to be a door there before he moved in. The previous owner knocked down the wall separating the master bedroom and a smaller room to make the main room bigger, they then took out the door and replaced it with a wall. I had never been to this house before so this sort of freaked me out.
After I found out about the history of this door I never saw it in the corner of my eye again, but I can still see to this day the 'plaster mark'. After that I thought it was a one off, until just 4 weeks ago. You see my mum's just got married (on the 5th) and me and my sister were brides maids. We were keeping all the dresses at our next-door-neibors mum's house (big breath) and we regularly tried them on to see if we had gotten too fat over the summer. We had gone to try on the dresses and they were fitting fine, we were then saying goodbye whilst they were watching corrie in the dark front room, when I saw a doorway-shaped plaster line in the wall next to the window. I recognized this from my uncle's house and I knew that if it was actually a mark on the wall (puff puff), I wouldn't have been able to see it because the was no light in the room. I'm not saying it was glowing or anything but I could just see it.
So when I asked our (deep breath) next-door-neibors-mum-and-dad: "Am I right in thinking there used to be a door there?" They looked at each other with shocked expressions on their faces and said: "Well yes there did a long time ago, how did you know?" I got the weirdest feeling in my stomach which was a mixture of "oh my god it's true I can see doors!" And overpowering joy (and I'm not boasting) "wow I'm special! I have a special ability!" But my mum obviously did not have the same feeling and it completely freaked her out. She doesn't like talking about it, god bless the poor old deluded dear. (I pray to god she never reads this.)
The story goes that a disabled man used to live there and he used to have a door leading from the living room to the front door so he could answer the door quickly. The weird thing is I also got the feeling I was in the same room but a long time ago and I got a quick vision of a nearly empty room that looked cold and as if no-one had been living there for a while. I think the same thing happened at my uncle's house but I can't remember what I saw.
Well I think I have bored you enough now so I'll give it a rest. But if anyone knows what the hell this ability is, PLEASE tell me! Thanks.
i believe everyone has the right to see things how ever they want to I don't think its right that you have gotten people on here who put you down for how you veiw things my husband does not believe in god and I do but so what I love him more than any man alive it does not mean you are a bad person because of your not beliveing in god because I don't veiw god as everyone else and a lot of religous people hate me but my point is you diddnt come here to be judged you came to share your story with us and nobody has the right to judge you so people leave I see doors alone I like the story and I hope you will share more with us
