Premonitions and Shadows

Michael - Of course you have abilities. Everyone does, just some more fine tuned. Albert Einstein said that it was easy to get lost in that otherworld. He zoned out a lot. Well, you are young and strong. Like Edmund recommended, be patient and grow into it. You have your priorities now. School is a biggie. So is your family and your friends. I have children older than you. They have always found me funny. We laugh a lot. Humor is good. They trust me. I like that. Use your brain and sense enough to help keep you safe. If you don't like something, tell it. I've don't that lots. Build your life which is why you are here. Listen to your instincts and have some fun with it. The shadows happen sometimes. I notice that when people say the truth lampposts turn off. I burn lightbulb when turning them on when stressed. I see "myst'" coming out of talking people's mouths (even when its hot) when they are stating facts. My dreams reveal up to 3 days up in time in the future. I have a strong sense of right and wrong. I am surrounded by the numbers 11, 21, 8, 6, 33. Am I going nuts? NO!

YaYa... I don't think spear-light is an Angel. Angels are task oriented they seem to show up to to do a specific task and then split once the task is over. Just a feeling, plus when he laughed when you told your grandparents kind of strengthens that for me. Now I have no idea what he is. You were more open as a child that's why you don't see him anymore... Now that's real common we loose innocence as we get older.

I wouldn't be to much in a rush to get rid of the feelings and accept who/whom is trying to get your attention it takes a while to build up the spiritual strength to be ready to "see" better safe than sorry 😁

First of all I'm so glad to have found a site with people just like me, I don't even know how I ended up here but I sure am glad! I wondered of something was wrong with me, well when I was younger I'd always had this thing around me,& I say thing because I saw no face or body only eyes. This things eyes were so bright, like a golden color(Black cat kind of eyes) I gave this thing the name Spear-Light,don't ask where that came from, whenever I'd try to tell my grandparents the Spear-Light was here, they wouldn't listen and this thing would laugh but I never was frightened could that have been an Angel of mine? And why can't I see him/her anymore? I'll be 30 this month,& I am terrified of the dark not because I see things but because I feel like I'm being touched,watched,my hair stands up, I get chills. I don't mind the feelings but I am afraid that I will see something. Is that bad? What can I do to rid this feeling and accept whatever's trying to get my attention? I want to connect with the spiritual world but I need help with dealing with seeing!

Allessandra, by the way, you have a beautiful name! I wanted to tell you about my aunt. She has, since she was a child, been able to see spirits, read people's thoughts, have premonitions, visions, it goes on and on. Anyway, she went to a 24-hour prayer sessions at church one day. She told me when she came out of there, she could see right into the spirit world. She explained that she could see spirits doing unspeakable things to people and they were completely unaware of it. There were many horrific things she saw all the way home. She told me she was shaking so bad she couldn't get the door open fast enough. My aunt was so terrified, she didn't even come by our house to pick up her daughter. She stayed home until the next day locked in her house. So when I read your comment, I remembered her story. You probably can feel all the things that spirits are doing everyday to many other people that are completely unaware that anything is going on. I don't think you are crazy. Your senses are just in tune with something that others know nothing about. My aunt still won't give me the whole story about what she saw that day, and even now, some 20 years later, she gets shakey talking about it.

Allessandra... I think its more of a haunting then an ability. Things like this sometimes happen randomly but did you or anyone close to you dabble in the occult ?

I know that this is random, but I've been having a problem lately. I hope someone can help me.
When I close my eys at night, I see, shadow figures in my head. I can feel the air around them, touching my arms and neck. I can see their fingers becoming long and reaching around my neck. I feel that they want to hurt me, or awake me, but they can never get too close to me. They disappear, before I open my eyes.
Is this an ability, or am I just crazy?

hi, I'm 16 years old, and I used to have the same problem. I still do but its not as sever. I have premonitions like you, only they're very vivid. I see and communicate with ghosts constantly so it only seems natural now. When we used to live in bellville my dad got a house from his godmother, in which we lived. When my parents decided to sell the house, his godmother was furious, at night she would storm through the house house and lock all the doors. Since I was her favorite she used to lock me in my room. It kept happening every night until we moved out of the house. I was only nine at the time, but it was playing with her, she was always there for me like a guardian. I was so cool when you were about to do something bad and POOF shed appear. I'm not sure you had the chance to experience this, but when I'm calm I can make my body ablaze. Mentally thou, like I can feel its warmth wrap around me, but when I open my eyes there is nothing there. I'm still working on it but hopefully someday I can get to a point where I could actually put my body on flame. For some reason me and my mom can always tell when someones about to come. We can mentally feel there upcoming presence. Sometimes its weird when you think about it, so I try not to.

i think tabitha is right I saw some articals about peoples seeing shadow people and I though that it was kind of freaky. People see them normaly at night wich doesn't seem to be your case and that they seldom attack people but they are normal seen at the corner of somones eye and I heard in some articals on other articales of people being paralized when they appear. But this might not be the problem becuase you hear them talking and I have heard nothing about the shoadow people talking and also becuase it seems like youve seen them in the day. So they might be ghost and you might have the abilities Iseedoors talked about becuase it was inherited but right now I'm just guessing that you can not see these ghost's bodies becuase you gifts are not prefected. But that figure you saw at school could possibly be of shadow folk but everything else is probably a ghosts. (I don't know anything about this exept my research in other articales because I don't have any real phsichic abilities but I have seldom seen misc things of my future in my dreams.)

hi its when you go to funerals not being nasty but they can scare you and give you nightmares. Anyway it could be a spirit or something which you can only see as shadows yeah its like a sign of a ghost I've been going through this I've been feeling that I'm being watched not just that I saw a ghost on last Thursday which was a teen boy in my bathroom which I felt on that day something was going to happen its affected me so much I'm scared of being alone because they end up doing things like showing themselves and that. I'm only 16 myself. It could be you just getting parnoid and scared.

you are amazing! It looks as if you have more than one abillity there.#1 you are a medium, #2 you seem to be psychic (seeing the future) and #3 you seem to see/hear things from the past. Maybey if you do a little research on those rooms that you saw the shadows and heard the voices you might find out why you see/hear them. Like haunted houses often have someone who died whilst living there.

Have you ever looked up what these "shadow people" are? I recently talked with someone who told me that shadow people and premonitions can really be intertwined. He said if I thought I saw them to google it, but I don't, and I get scared easily so I never did google it. Maybe you should though.
