I am not one of those people who never have dreams, or never remember them. Every time I fall asleep I have a dream and can replay it in my mind over and over again. A lot of the time these dreams come true.
One time I dreamed my friend was making a sandwich in the morning. This dream was so vivid that I contacted her straight away. I asked her what she was doing and she told me she was making a sandwich. I then continued to ask her what time their clock showed, what clothes she was wearing, what brand the butter was, who was in the next room, what was on the TV and even what song she was singing when making her sandwich. I got all of these details correct and felt as if something happened to me to make me see things.
Another time I dreamt that two certain girls from my school would threaten to shoot my friend and myself. I didn't tell my friend because I didn't want to worry her. When we received the threat (in real life) my friend just laughed it off, but I went pale and shaky.
When I was five, I dreamed my granddad would fall down some stairs, and seriously injure his shoulder. I woke up screaming, even though the dream wasn't scary at all. My mom came into my bedroom to ask if I was alright and I said that I'd had a bad dream. She told me seriously not to tell anyone of my dream and keep it too myself. Even though this dream happened ten years ago I still remember it clearly, as if it was yesterday. My granddad, probably at the same time I was having my dream, was walking down the stairs of his house to get a glass of water, he tripped, landing on his shoulder.
There have been many other occasions where my dreams have come true. My mother has them too sometimes. When she was 11, she dreamed her grandmother had died in the night. When she woke up she told her mother. Her mother just laughed and said she was getting in a worry over nothing. My mom went to school worried and when she came back she returned to the news that her grandmother had passed away. From them on my mom has never told anyone what she dreams about, for she fears they will come true.
Like my mother, I have had one dream which someone died in and the next day the dream came true. This someone was my granddad's dog. He was very old and we knew that he was going to pass away sometime soon. I told nobody of my dream, thinking it was silly. Around 8pm in the evening, we got a phone call that the dog has indeed passed away at the very time that was shown on the clock in my dream. I was not only in tears over the dog, but I was terrified over what I could do.
When I realized that these dreams could be visions I read some stories online. One involved a man's brother being killed and in his dream he came to tell him he'd being murdered. The dreamer told his officer and the officer gave him leave to find out about what had happened to his brother. Surely enough the brother had been murdered in the same place, at the same time and in the same manner as the dream.
I have no opinion to whether I am a psychic, or whether my dreams are just coincidence.
