Background on me: I am a natural empath, and clairvoyant. I am also familiar with lucid dreams, as well as astral projection. I say this because it might have something to do with my experience.
This phenomenon had been starting to intrigue me, mostly because it has increased in intensity. Basically, whenever I go off to sleep, I seem to be dreaming someone's memories from an event. Below I outlined the description of these "dreams", and why I can't explain what they are.
-I am sometimes myself, and then there are other times where I just "know" that I am in a different body (as in I can feel the physical sense of the body)
-I also have access to the person's memory, as if I am that person (I know the people in the dream, or where I am)
-In conjunction with the above, in some cases I know all about "myself" in there, such as my name, who I am talking to (if there is a person)
-I also experience the dream in "real-time", as in thoughts are going through my head as if it were a real-life event (NOTE: I am referring to whoever I am in these things). And as the events unfold, I react just as though it were real-life.
-In some of them, I seem to be an omniscient person, both understanding what is going on in my head (in the dream), and watching from outside the dream body.
-when in this dream body, I can also feel the emotions that go through their head, as well as any physical sensations that they experience (such as preventing a door from opening)
-The dreams are all "not random", meaning that they have a structure and play out as if it were a memory as someone remembered it
-In most cases, it is like I just walked into the person's body and observed events unfolding through their eyes
-Some of the events in the dream also seem to be taking place in the present as well.
-Finally, there are a few things that have happened that I never could have come up with... Such as feeling what it feels like to die. Not only did I feel the death occurring in that dream, but the majority of the dream was spent as the deceased (a spirit of some kind)

The reason I suspect that these aren't dreams is mostly because I am aware that they are going on, as in it should be lucid, and yet I seem unable to alter the dream in any way. I know how to do this in a lucid dream. Also, I have heard that in dreams you cannot experience emotions or the physical sense of touching.
I do keep a dream journal, and posted some of these dreams up, but on another site (I may place them up on here later on as well)
I guess my question is: has anyone experienced something similar, or can offer some insight? I know my description isn't the best, but I could use a little help figuring this one out.
