I have had some weird experiences with clocks in particular, they tell me when they are about to stop! I bought a wall clock and put a new battery in it, never thought about it once until a couple of years later, "that battery has lasted remarkably well" I thought, went to bed and woke the next day to find the clock had stopped due to the battery being flat. Just minutes ago I went to check the time on another clock under similar circumstances, this time with a digital clock, and it too had stopped while I was holding it in my hands! The time was correct when I looked at it in my hand I looked away and back at the clock to find it had stopped working due to flat battery.
I was working on my car and had to disconnect the battery so the clock on the instrument display would have stopped, reconnected the battery a couple of days later and went to correct the clock as it would not be showing the correct time, WRONG, my watch said 3:37, the clock in the car read 3:37.
Another experience with time: My father was critically ill in hospital for a few days prior to his dying there and I could not attend due to living hundreds of miles away. I had to phone my brother every day for updates about his deteriorating condition. I called at random times every day but one day I thought "I want to call now" but couldn't because I was driving. It was 10 minutes before I could get off the freeway and call. I immediately called my brother who said "Dad died 10 minutes ago".
I have this tendancy to look at the clock and it is my birthday (10:16). It trips me out every time. This has happened since I was in High School I believe. A palm reader told me that it means something is going to happen on my birthday. I don't know but it bothers me because it happens at least every other day. It's not only the time, but it's receipts and random numbers as well.
