I was unsure of what the moon was symbolic for. I have done a little research and from what I can see, it could be one of a couple of things, sexual desire, or a feminine energy. So work that one out if you can. Have a look at this site.

First you gotta chill out girl. What you are writting and how you put it across to me. You gave the light thing a few words and left it at that. BUT! You then go on to tell me how scared you are, how they won't leave you alone, how they tell you things in your dreams.
You are talking silly, you can protect your self with light, if you can not imagine it just say it, it will be just the same. If you do not help yourself, how can I or any one else help. You have to put effort into it. Believe me it works.
Let me tell you, those who you call they, are nothing, of no consiquence to you. If they are telling you bad stuff, tell then to take a hike. I have told you what to do. Say, in the name of our Lord, in the name of our mother Mary I command you to leave my personal space NOW. You must understand that they should not be here, this is not their time or space now. You have to talk tough to them.
Evil spirits do not like the white light, they infact hate it. It is totally oppisite of what they are here for.
If you are not prepared to help your self, I can't do much from here.
Go girl, do it. You don't need to see pictures of the light coming down through your body, just imagine it, but just talking it through works.
You are going through just what I experienced. So I do know. I am in control now.
If you see anything with a square, this means it is relating to the earth, things going on down here. If you see anything in a circle, it is related to the spirit world or the heavens.
You say you ignored a spirit talking to you, what was he saying, and how did you regret it? The whole story and maybe I can help, or some one else on here may chip in to assist.
If an evil spirit has you running scared, they are winning. That is what they want. DO NOT GIVE IN TO THEM.
Trust me, you are strong and you will do just what I did to get through it. Now it is the most wonderful thing I do. I love my spirit guides big time, they are great and look after me.
As I said before. Any spirit talking bad is not for you. Get rid.

That light thing I have tried but just can't do it. I haven't got a imagination like it if you get me. I notice there not always people you know who have passed away. I met loads of teens who have died in the spirit world. That hit me and got me so emotional!

Everyone of those spirits were nice. I do get bad spirits on holiday. That's why I'm scared of going on holiday because something bad always happens. What is surprising this holiday nothing bad happened. One holiday a spirit told me a dream and the plug thing ended up snapping in half and ended up hurting myself.

I used to get symbols like a square, moon, seagull. They were as shadows which wouldn't go away. The moon wouldn't go every time I blink it would be there. The only way I get to talk to them is if they come to me. Once I ignored a spirit who spoke to me I regret ignoring him I was just scared. They know I get scared when it comes to it that why they tell me things in dreams.

There are several ways to find out who your spirit guide is or guides. Ask a medium to do it for you or try your self. BUT! Before you do any spiritual work, protect your self with light.
They way I do it every night and morning is;
I either sit in a chair or lie in bed and empty my mind. I ask for the highest possible spiritual light sources to send me a pure white light form the heavens, in the name of our Lord and Mother. Then imagine a load of light coming down filling you slowly from your head to toe. Then I ask to be grounded with roots of white light from my feet down into the mother earth. Then I ask for a violet light to surround me totally and sealed for full protection.
Then I do the house the same. Also my car too.
When I have done that I know I am much safer from nasty spirits trying to confuse me. I stay in my meditation and ask to be put in tune with my spirit guides. Just keep an empty mind and let spirit give you the thoughts and pictures. You will be fine. When you feel you are in tune, ask questions. BUT! Only ask one at a time until you get an answer. Do not ask a double barrel question that can have more than one answer, that will throw you.
You need to work closely with your guides and learn what and why they give you the answers, they may well come in symbols, sometimes a picture of the accual event or even a voice. But you need to know how your guides work and what they mean.
Have you tried going to a Spiritualist church, they are good and will help you.
Do not assume that every voice you here is your guides or a family member. Just remember, your guides will never ever give you bad advice or talk nasty to you or ask you to do anything bad, you get it? This is why you do need to protect yourself.
I also went through a time where I never saw or heard anything for a while, but it comes back, or you can ask you guides to come to you and show you what you need to know, just protect first. I only wish I could do what I do now when I was 18, you are sooooooooo lucky.

what do you mean what light to protect me?
I've not been through much lately. Not seen any ghosts which is strange but I'm still scared of being on my own. I knew it was someone telling me! I don't know who my spirit guide is! How can I find out?

I live in the UK and have gone through just the same 20 years ago. I have it under contral now. Do you get in tune with your spirit guides? Do you use light to protect you? What have you done to stop these or to put them into a position where you are more in control. I can give you advice on all this. I have been there and still am in contact with th spirit world, but a lot more on my terms now. Dont stop doing it, it is the most wonderful thing you can experience or have. I too have bad visions, crashes, murders and so on, and they all came true. I am told this is your spirit guides testing you to see how you react to what you see and to see if you will be right for spiritual work on the mother earth. A lot of people freak when it happens, I nearly had kittens as I lived on my own too. BUT! I stuck with it and asked many others like me many questions. You will be suprised how many with help.
When you first start there is a chance you might pick up the odd roming spirit who will stick there nose in and have a look, or may give you bum info. I will let you know what to do with the light and some other useful info too.
