I'll start off by saying that I'm 15 and I just recently learned about the many different kinds of psychic abilities. I discovered I was an empath and I can recall many times I have had experiences that I didn't think much of. I was happy to find this site so I can talk to people like me and get what I needed of my chest.

Well the first experience I can recall was when I was 9 and this kid I know was getting bullied by my friend. He started to cry, but then all of a sudden I started to cry as if a blanket of sadness just came over me. My friends asked why I was so sad, I just made up an excuse. I now know that was my empathic ability at work. After that through out my life I could tell when people were sad no matter how they tried to hide it and I would always know why they were sad. I always know when and why my parents and friends are stressed and I does stress me out sometimes. Now I know how to block out other peoples and I can sometimes change other peoples emotions. I'm also a little bit clairaudient. I hear voices from time to time that nobody else does.

I decided I wanted to take my ability farther than anyone has ever taken their own empathic ability. I believe that with the ability to change people's emotions that the empathic ability can be taken to new lengths and learn even mind control and maybe even some abilities that I can't even imagine. hmmm I think you could be a psychic vampire becuse you can change emotions and how strongly you feel I always feel bad when I take in a bad emotion check out this web site

i always kno when my dad is strest out and it makes me really strest out. And I thnk the more you practice and meditate the more youll control it. Its a prety amazing and usefull gift. 😊

i know what you mean by blanket of sadness or hearing things (like your name whispered in your ear) my parents are stressed about the economy and its stressing me along with them.

i am 14, just I just realized what I can do, and I am learning how to control it I feel others pain like my own, if one of my friends are upset I get equally upset, I know what to say to people in a bad situation even if I have never been in it... I need help trying to get a better control of sensing what people are feeling... I want to help people... I am working on controlling when I feel something or not, but its hard to turn it on and off... Any tips? I understand what people mean by drained, you know what its like to be a teenager there is a lot of emotional drama in my school, I feel drained everyday and need 2 times more sleep than any of my friends... I turn to god a lot, without even thinking about it, I just start acting like a preacher, lol does this have to do with being an empath? I remember one time when my friend was really upset, he was crying HARD none of my friends understood why I was crying, I said I didn't know but then all of a sudden everyone started crying, in the class we were in everyone was friends with him, but despite my own troubles I went and comforted my friends, while I was still crying, I thought I was just a good person, all my life those same situations have come up, now I know what I am.

Sounds Cool Keep at what you need to do is quite your mind. Then Focus your empathy on a family member or a friend or someone and try new things with your empathy.

thanks I have done that alittle bit but I havnt done it in awhile. Does it depend on where you metitate like if I'm alone in my house there is nobodies emotions to take in so I don't get how that works but ill give it a try thanks

Meditation, just without the humming. If you quietly meditate you will be able to take in more emotions as an Empath since your conscience's concentration isn't being split for other things such as seeing, hearing. If you meditate enough your Empath ability grows stronger... I would know.
