When I was growing up back in the 70's and 80's, my favorite musical group was ABBA. O.K., if you're done laughing, let me continue.
My grandfather on my father's side of the family passed away in January of '81. I was sent to live with my grandma, I was 15. She lived in a big old farmhouse out in the country.
I can't remember exactly when this incident happened. It may have been the following winter, I'm not sure.
I had a dream that seemed so real. I was at an ABBA concert listening to the music. I was aware that they were performing a new song called "When All Is Said And Done." Next thing I knew, I was backstage with the group and Agnetha was giving me a copy of their new album "The Visitors." She showed me the pictures on the album cover front and back. Then I woke up.
Living in the country, going to a small town school and getting to have cars of my own to work on and do with as I pleased, music hadn't been important to me for a while now. I had no idea ABBA had really come out with a new album.
The day after the dream seemed like a normal day. I was outside in the driveway installing a stereo in one of my dads cars. When I turned it on to test it, the song from my dream was playing on the radio. I was stunned to say the least. I ran in the house and told my grandma that I had to go to town to look for a new record.
When I got to Schultz's department store, there it was. The album I was showed in the dream. The pictures were the same as I was showed in the dream.
Please keep in mind that there was no radio in the house and we only got 1 tv station. I did have a radio in my car. I swear, I did not hear or see anything about this album before the dream.
Any ideas on what happened? Thanks for reading. Jim
