In the beginning of the year 2001, I was working as a clinician with Indians up north of Montreal (Qc. Canada). I was going through a lot of spiritual experiences with North American Indians (in French we use the term: Amerindian).
Anyway, one night, I had this real intense dream where I wake up in a black and white environment, inside a tall white building, but everything around me is deserted. I can see crumbled rocks and white dust, clouds of rubble, fumes and dusts is all over. I manage to get out from the bottom and I look around to see another very tall white building, white as in a ghostly dusty pale sense. And all around the two buildings that are in diagonal with each other, there is nothing, like if everything was destroyed. I can see two full moons above the other building and what has always struck me as weird and intense was that one moon was very orange-red like, while the other moon was very white, but both were side by side. I woke up from this dream with a sense of dread. Given that I was among Indians I told this dream to some, but no one knew what to think of it. It was only after another dream the same morning of 9/11, that I made the connection. On the same morning of Sept. 9/11, I had just awakened from a dream where two serpents were swirling up around each other. I hat snakes! Anyway, I woke up again, and immediate sensed the need to turn on the TV in which we saw the second plane colliding with the second tower.
Please people, give me your input!
Moon
To see the moon in your dream, represents some hidden, mysterious aspect of yourself. It is often associated with the feminine mystique and intuition.
The orange of the moon sounded like a lunar eclipse to me. I looked at pictures and the moon is orange or red.
Eclipse
To dream of a lunar eclipse suggests that there are parts of you that you have buried, but they will soon rise to the surface.
I also find your dream particularly interesting because 9/11 happens to be my birthday. I remember that it was a Tuesday and my mother was trying to get me ready for school (I was only four, I also found it weird that four planes were hijacked on my fourth birthday) but I was strangely moody and threw a temper tantrum. I didn't to go to school and I was scared of something. It was around five in the morning. I usually stayed at school from 5 a.m. To 6 p.m. As my mother worked two jobs and was a single mother. She finally gave up on getting me to school and layed me back down in bed before going to make breakfast.
Around 7:30 a.m. Breakfast is done and she came to wake me up. We ate breakfast and watched some cartoons for a while before she asked if I could go play in my room.
From what she tells me she turned the news on around 9:15 a.m. She phoned her boss as she was washing the dishes and still watching the news at a low volume. Around 9:45 a.m. She was in the middle of an argument with her boss as to why she could not go to work when the news reported the plane crash on the Pentagon.
She dropped the dish she was holding and turned up the tv, still on the phone with her boss. She started telling her boss what was going on, but she had just hung up.
Dunno if my attitude had anything to do with the crash but it did freak us out, considering my mother used to work right across the street from the Pentagon and we lived ten minutes away just a few months earlier.
