My Realistic Dreams Are Premonitions

Hello there. I am here to discuss things about my dreams. I usually have a dream about... 2 or 3 times a week. Usually one of them is physically impossible to happen in real life. But all of the others are a complete mimic of what is going to happen in the future. Word for word. I'm at my Grandma's house for Easter Sunday and I find a blue Easter egg in the dream, I do exactly that in real life. I don't even know that I'm doing it until after I remember the dream. I want to learn more about this. I want to be able to interpret these. What do they mean? Why are they happening? Can I get any help?

I mean, it's weird, not scary. But... I like it. Me and my sister both have done it. I don't know about my parents or what has happened with them or if it ever happened to them, but I want to find out. Is there anyone else that this happens too? I mean, is somebody else out there? Because it gets annoying after a while. It will repetitively happen maybe 3 weeks straight, but then it will stop for a few more weeks, then come back. I want to know what this means.

Thanks, regards, and God Bless,

-Jord.

I would really like to have a talk on this subject with you Jord and with some of the people that posted here. Like you Jord, only the vivid dreams, the realistic ones are real life premonitions. And I usualy have them just before waking up, even if I sleep during the day. Just like you Jord, I have these dreams for a while, then it stops sometimes for a month or even two. I am looking for answers too, but maybe if we can get a group together we should find out more about it. We should look for anything that links us. There must be a reason why some of us dream the future and the rest don't. We should support eachother as no one else will. I advice you to avoid telling your friends about this. They will eventually mock you or talk to your behind. Even my family is defensive when I tell them about new dreams, even though they saw in different ocasions I was right. By the way, i'm 28 years old and I saw a lot of you people have a similar age. I'm looking forward hearing from you Jord. Excuse my spelling, but I'm not a native english speaker.

blackhill that is a lot of images happening at once. Think about how it ties into your life and read some of the other articles about dream interpertation. People have posted useful websites, etc. I'll repost if I can find them.

Personally I just pray and God gives me the answers I need to interpert my dreams. But the websites and advice others have posted on this site seem to help others interpert their dreams, perhaps they will help you?

sorry for being childish their, anyways the first one would be that I am with my mom in karachi pakistan and we are out shopping at some place and then due to some reason my mom gets in a situation where a guy is pointing a gun at mom for some reason don't know why and is yelling at us in a very angry way then I try to cover mom and talk to him to cooldown but seconds later he shoots mom and mom is dead on the floor I am crying helpless at that time then I get up bursting towards him then the dream ends the second one is showing I sm in a relationship wid some girl and it feels that I kno her from before but her face always appeared in a way just making it like 70 percent clear who she is and I think I know her but not sure, the third is about my wedding this is actually what my friend saw in a dream and told me about it, the way my hair was had a muscualar body and a few more things which were exactly the way I planned too, the fourth is we shifted to a new house few months back and the few parts of the house were the same as the image I got before shifting here, 5th one
About four to five buisiness ideas I got in the same kind of dreams were introduced one by one with a month or two's gap the fifth is I got the knowlegde of what they showed in the movie inception and I even told that to my friends and the after a month or some days the moovie released that's my experience uptill now... And one more thing some of these dreams come after when something in my mind just clicks and gets like saved while having a talk with some one and it starts when my brain automatically focusses on just a word or a phrase and then I see an image in my dreams and sometimes its hard for me to make it out that was it in a dream or an image forming at that moment...

Rook the infamous story submit page is down again until monday at least.

Blackhill perhaps the author will not mind if you ask your questions? Or you can email either Rook or I, He seems to have more experience with both the site and Out of body Experiences. I just joined and simply an empath but will try and help if I can.

Peace, light and love.

Do not let fear rule your life, but learn to live despite of it. Fear is a survival instinct, therefore you should listen to its message but use your other senses and your heart and mind to determine your actions and words, not just one single emotion. If you are empathetic the fear might not even be yours.

blackhill,

Your answers are not the O/P's answers. Mayhap you should post your 'dreams' here as an experience (story) that way we can help you directly with what YOU are going through.

Help is here, but it's easier if we 'hear' just what you are going through... Not just 'the same thing happens to me, but it's kind of different'...

So Please post your story and all of us here will do our best to help you.

Respectfully,

Rook

I have searched the internet A LOT and happy to finally find a forum where people are experiencing similar events. I have dreamed about all of my 4 neices and nephews being born months before my siblings new they were pregnant, most importantly about one of them being born premature. Usually, they only happen once a year, but have seemed to progress as I get older. I dreamed when I was little about my older sister getting married to a blonde man (came true) and about the details of the wedding. I could have subconsiously convinced her though. I onced dreamed that my sister would have a miscarriage with her baby boy before she was even pregnant. I also dreamed that my uncle died and that my cousin's baby stopped breathing and had to be rushed to the hospital. The scariest experience I had was a dream about a man being kidnapped (I was him in the dream) and thrown in a trunk, taken out and dragged down a dirt road, where he eventually died. A month later I was running on the treadmill at the gym watching tv, when the national news ran a story about a murder. The news described exactly the events of my dream and showed the road where it had occured, which was the exact same road (with specific details) in my dream. Other small events happen like wierd, random items I'll pick up, or someone saying something. Most importantly, I've written them all down and as soon as something happens I write it down. My family has slowly started to believe me. I also make sure to tell at least two people so if something does come true I have proof!

I just had a similar situation as far as having a dream that actually happened. It was the Quantus Plane that crashed last week. I don't normally have vivid dreams, but this one seemed 'real' to me. I felt all of the emotions and heard all of the sounds better than a normal dream. There were plenty of details that just added up. I had the dream about a month before the plane crash. When I woke up from the dream, I wrote it in a journal bc I just got this sense to pay attention to it. It felt like it was going to happen... Then a month later. Boom. It did. It was kind of weird!

I have precognitive dreams as well. Actually I've had them ever since I was a child. For years, though, I would have maybe one or two a year and that would be it. However, things have changed within the past 2-3 years. I have been having precognitive dreams more and more often. Within the last year or so, they happen every day. Everyday something happens that I have dreamt before. Everyday, no exceptions. Unfortunately, I usually dream things 2 months out or more. I've dreamt things a year before they happen. I have never dreamt something and it happen the very next day or within a week or two, I wish I did.
As an example, last year around late August or early September I had a dream of a plane crash. I knew the plane had crashed somewhere very North of me (I'm in Texas) and it felt like Canada. I knew in the plane crash were 3 people. The pilot, a friend of the pilot, and a little 3 year old girl. I knew the pilot was the girl's grandfather. I knew the two men had died in the crash. In the dream, I am at the plane crash and I can see the little girl in her carseat strapped in. She has lost her teddy bear in the crash and she can see it but can't reach it and is very upset over this. In the dream, I see her spirit start to leave her body and I panic. Somehow, I know that if I just concentrate love toward this child then she will be OK. Immediately upon having that thought, a white light emanates from my belly and is pouring into the girl. This is the most vivid part of the dream. The white light coming from me felt hot, and full of love, I don't know how else to describe it. Then, I see her spirit go back into her body, I feel her fear and anxiety diminish. She is calm and happy and peaceful. I stay this way with her for a long time until rescuers arrive and then I leave. She has minor injuries at most, in the dream, maybe a few scratches and that's it. Before leaving, I know she is going to be OK. Two or three months after having this dream, I read a newsarticle on the internet about a plane crash in Canada with a 3 year old girl who survived. The pilot was her grandfather and the other person a friend of the family. They both died. Miraculously, the girl was fine (the reports said she survived because of the carseat) and just wanted her teddy bear when the rescuers found her. The details of the crash were exactly as I dreamed them.
I don't know why I have precognitive dreams. I don't know why I dream things so far in advance. I'd like these things to happen sooner instead of months into the future. I wish I knew how to control them. I want to become more lucid in them so I can understand more of what it is happening and what I am supposed to do with the information I recieve. Most of the time I never know I have had a precognitive dream until the event actually happens. I will say though that I have learned that the dreams are intense, vivid, and, very real. As a result, I am starting to be able to recognize these dreams as they happen more and more instead of not knowing they were precognitive until the events happened.
I've been keeping a dream journal for about 3 months or so. (I should have done this all my life but I'm a procrastinator and lazy). The dream journal has helped some. I now remember more details from my dreams as well I have proof that I have dreamt something before it happened. I can check the dates in my dream journal.

Flutter - I bought a notebook weeks ago. Perhaps I'm just stubborn. I don't write down stuff, even in my new notebook, or meditate. I don't know why. Do you know why?

Shannon - just be careful. When I was in college, I would avoid dreaming. It seemed like cheating to me. But, one night on a history test, dreamed the test. Figured out my answers. Took it the next day. It was a Tues/Thurs class so had a little time like over an hour. I write fast. Filled nine or ten pages. But, each question, I went into so much detail that I almost didn't finish the last questions. In that class, I am not a history major, the prof said that if anyone had 95 average or above they didn't have to take the final. I was that one. He didn't have people do that is what I felt. My class clapped. So, maybe it helped, but I would still have rather taken the final and not had this. I like doing things on my own.

I have had these. I usually keep a notebook, I put down the time I wake up from one of these, the date and then kind of forget about it. When It happens I look back to my book I keep my dreams in and see when I had the dream and how long it took before it happen.

Sometimes I have been able to prevent someone for being hurt, if that person believes what I say, if they don't then it happens.

Keeping a book on this or journals as some day is a good way to go with these kind of dreams.

Oh it happens to me ALL the time. I usually have them in the mornings right before I wake up. It'll remind me to do things and give me very good premonitions. Like once I had a huge test, and the night before I was cramming and studying and totally afraid I was going to fail, but then I had a dream that night telling me not to worry and it even gave me a few study tips. Use these dreams to your advantage 😁

This happens to me as well. About 3 times a week now. Keep a dream journal and I'll bet you will find it happens more than you think. I still haven't figured out how to make use of it yet but that is why I am here. Email dwill and let's get that group together!

yes, it happens to me all the time too. Ill have a dream about some random thing and a couple days later it will happen. I'm 31 years old and was brought up a religious person but since college I have become distant from religion. I guess you could say I'm somewhat agnostic but not atheist (sp). Anyway my point being is that I have always thought there was a scientific reason for this happening to me. I have heard loosely that it maybe have something to do with quantum physics but have never looked into the matter. Definately would love to delve deeper into this issue. If you or anyone else has anything to add please let me know. My email is az85374 [at] yahoo.com. Id like to get a group together and discuss this.

Hello. My aunt is pregnant and I have been rather worried about her having her baby. THe baby is due in the middle of next year. She has a cat and I am fully aware of the risks they can pose as harmful to the growing baby in the first trimester of its growth. I had a dream recently of her having a still born- and the next day I found out that the pregnant mothers early exposure to cats can cause stillborns. Does this mean that she will have a stillborn? Or is it just the enourmous worry I feel for her-we are very close. I am not sure what this means-I haven't exactly had experiences like this before but some psychic things have happeneded to me. I would like some feedback from those people that have had some experience in this area. THank you

hello, my current age is 29, I also have premonitions both in dreams and waking, along with other 'gifts'i just want to let all of you, who fear or feel uncomfortable with your 'abilities', that you need not fear them. It in my opinion is a 'gift' of the divine. One of you, in comment said touching things made them occur, this is called ''touch medium'' it can be hard to take, I too went through a period when I couldn't switch mine off. In time you may be able to ''choose'' what you see in touch. But not allways. Please don't fear any 'gifts' you get, they may feel wrong to you. But they are not. You are very wonderful and gifted individuals! Also for the younger ones, or ones who were gifted as children. This may help... Google in 'indigo or crystal children'. It might help you. I am a crystal on the way to rainbow crystal,BTW. Take care and peace to you!

I Know How You Feel. I'm 17 Now and Lately I've Been Noticing. Some Of My Dreams Have Been Coming True. No Matter If It Happens A Month Or 2 From Now. But Its Only The Ones That Feel So Real. I have Been Having A Dream A lot lately. For example, all of my dreams at night for the past few nights have been the same dream or about the same thing... Its always about my boyfriend and my friend flirting and when me and my boyfriend broke up last winter he slept with this girl. And for some reason in the past week I keep having these dreams about it. And I feel like theyre going to come true. In the 1st dream I had about it he kissed her on the cheek when I wasn't looking. And she told me like what happened in real life. But now I keep having dreams about it. I have multiple dream a night. If anyone can help me interpret this I would be very gracious. Hello there, I saw this message about dreams coming true and I felt I just had to reply. The thing with me is while I am awake I have always been able to "predict" events that have not happened yet by just getting very strong, almost certain sensations about different things it's been like since I was a child (i'm now in my early thirties). Up until the last few years I always believed that there could maybe be a "scientific" or "rational" explanation for this. However in the last few years I have had an alarming number of dreams that have come true and I honestly can't find a rational explanation for this. It's not déjà vu as I have experienced that so many times I've lost count, these dreams are something different as time goes on the number of dreams that I have that come true is increasing. I also have had other unusual experiences throughout the years that also seem to be increasing, so much so that I want to try and figure out what is going on and I still have a healthy sceptical side to me so I am open minded to all sorts of explanations paranormal or otherwise.

I had a dream the other night, about my sister in law. I have never really gotten along with her, never really even think about her as she lives on the opposite coast. In my dream, she was holding a baby, wrapped in pink. I told my mother in law about the dream I had had. She told me that indeed her daughter was a month pregnant, but that no one was suppose to know about it, due to the possibility of complications. There is concern over her pregnancy, but I feel, and even in my dream knew, that this pregnancy would end in the delivery of a beautiful baby girl.

i am 25 and have been having experiences since as far back as I remember. I had a tarot reading done about 6 months ago and they told me I was more spiritual than what I thought. So I bacame more interested and payed more attention to the happenings around me. 2 weeks ago I had a dream that my great grandma had died, I then recieved a phone call to tell me she had a massive stroke and it didn't look like she was going to make it . Thankfully she is getting better day by day, but I believe the dream was a messege to tell me I needed to be with her, I have spent as much time as possible with her. Then on sunday night I had another dream that one of my friends miscarried her pregnancy. She told me today she had a miscarry last week. I think you need to pay attention to these dreams as they are telling you important messages about loved ones. I am researching more into how to channel the energy and gain more accurate information.

Here's a precog dream I had and wrote down on June 16 2004, 10:15 AM

-----------------------
http://www.network54.com/Forum/202054/thread/1087304677/last-1107551171/Really+strange+dream

another dream

I was driving along a main road when a car raced past with 3 young men in it
they were driving all over the place and further up the road they crashed into a side barrier(Doncaster)
I then somehow was the frontseat passenger in that car and the police questioned me
I said I was offered a lift and did not know the other 2 men and I was telling the truth
As the officer questioned me a noticed over his shoulder that a VERY LARGE dust cloud was heading our way, I presumed it was a volcano erupting
I pointed it out to him and he was shocked and he got onto his radio and said" Get rescue teams, NOW!"
I then ran and hopped onto a tram and looked out the window and this wall of ash, dust and smoke stretched so far it was scary and it was rolling over everything and heading towards us
A young asain lady then grabbed me from behind and I woke up

Last time I had a volcano dream a few days later the Bali bombing occured, somehow I think something big is about to happen in or to Australia, also an Asian country
--------------------------

After the dream I thought it was a volcano, I'd never seen a tsunami before, but after seeing the brown waters rushing in from the tsunami on TV, I knew it had to be it.

I believe you can see into the future and I believe I have and on more than 1 occasion.

look I am not exactly an expert but it has happened to me before the problem is that as soon as you wake up you start losing the dream. Because of the fact that the dream could be important what I do is I have a notebook beside me as I sleep and as soon as I wake up a write down what has happened. Its a good way not to feel guilty later on if something goes wrong.

Hiya I go through it as well my dreams they come true. It does get annoying a bit sometimes its funny in a way. It gets annoying when I have been through this day before. I say to people " Stop repeating yourself" they say I haven't told you this before. They have my dreams feel real sometimes so I think it has already happened in real life. My dreams they are the future when it is in real life the dream repeats. My world its kind of fake its feels like I'm not alive it feels like I'm in a strange world from everyone else's.
