Real Psychic Experiences

Our Past Life

I've been experiencing strong premonitions and just about every night my dream would come true the next day. I had a dream that my father was attacked by a shark and the next day we went to the beach and sharks and dolphins came. Every night I get a strong premonition dream and it's very amazing, none of my friends get this.

I was just curious about us living in our past life. So we lived in another life before this? What happened; did we get reborn? And if we die again is it possible that we'll have to live another life? And we won't remember the past at all? I don't understand any of this past life stuff and it's very complicated. It's hard and it scares me a bit. I know it's better to learn to accept it, but I want to know what I'm accepting before I actually accept it.

If anyone can comment below and just give me a little information and there thoughts or knowledge on the life we lived before this, and if it's possible that we'll have to live another life after we die, and if not then why not? In our past life why didn't we go to heaven or hell after we died? For me this is really hard to understand. I hope you read everything and then give me some good information that could help me accept and understand this.

Thank You, for reading

Tara9282-

What about people that are not affected by Karma. The Rainbow Children are not. I should know I am one. I don't know why but we are not. Kinda weird. But even so I just learned about this world a month ago lol.

hi, if any interested in knowing more on spirit reborning cycle, you may refer to buddhist. (example, there's 10 thousand buddha's city in US - search website under master hsuan hua). The ancient 2 books in sanscrits (mahabrata?) known in India also providing same information. (please do not confuse, as not all hindu and chineses' religious are same, similiar in some points but different). You may go for some references, as people with psychic experiences which got better chances in knowing the universal (not religious) than others, sometimes not welcomed by some religious/temple/church.

Hi Albator,
If you are inferring to this reply re; past lives. It was the third of december and even I couldn't explain my theory then! I have researched many many days since grasshopper! Lol

I'm working on condensing the explanation I need for you, but in the meantime think along the old and new soul principle, rather than re incarnation.

I believe in past lives and I also believe that some of our unexplained phobias in this life can be explained by things we experienced in previous lives. For example, I'll go in panic mode if I wake up in complete darkness, I'm scared of dark waters and I'm also dead scared of flying... For me, I always felt as if this was due to the way I died in previous lives, maybe I drowned once for instance. Another thing, I've always been afraid of going blind... Why has that thought troubled me since childhood? I've come to accept that either my soul has retained an imprint of a previous life, or it's a premonition that that's how I will finish my life. Incidentally, this fear is with me since I'm a kid and strangely enough not only has my grandma gone blind since a few years, but I found out last week that her condition can be hereditary and that my mom, myself and two brothers must therefore have our eyes checked every year (and I'm 'only' 36)...
Finally, I do think we meet people in our current lives we've already met in previous lives. My mom had a friend who was a medium, she once told her that my youngest brother and I had been husband & wife in a previous life. I laughed it off when she told me this, but deep down it didn't feel all that wrong.
In response to Alice_Newton and academylin - the wolf thing you both brought up is particularly interesting to me, as I've always had a special 'bonding' with wolves. How can I explain... It's not that I've had an opportunity to be around them much unfortunately, but (again) since what seems like ever, I have felt deeply attracted to that animal. I admire and respect them more than anything, I don't fear them, and I 'feel' their intelligence/mood/soul (?) when I look in their eyes. I feel extremely attracted to them, there's some sort of positive energy when I'm close to them, they charge my batteries if I may say. And btw, the desciption you made academylin fits;)
I once went to see this man who claimed he could perform some sort of regression with the help of your spiritual guides. I doubted his methods and stopped seeing him after a few sessions because I found him to be extremely cold and detached... I'm an empath and have problems dealing with people who so evidentally lack empathy, especially when I feel the 'job' they're doing requires exactly the opposite. BUT there IS one thing I did manage to see before I stopped seeing him, one glimpse of a past life I believe, as this is what I had come for, and that was the image of a man of about 50, his face was warn out and wrinkled by years of harsh weather. He was standing in a forrest, surrounded by snow, and was dressed in patches of animal fur (including a hood which he was wearing), what seemed like rabbit and wolf fur, he was holding a branch which I assume he used as a walking stick and at his side sat a wolf. I have retained that image ever since and I think that man was me.
One last thing on the comments I've read, I think we reincarnate until we have reached spiritual perfection.

Hey Rabbit?
Got a lucky foot? 😜 I believe in past life, I'm not sure how it works, but I was afraid of water all my life, I would swim, but I would never take a cruise trip or travel by boat. Recently I saw a dream - I was a man, on a boat with two other unfriendly and rather athletic men and I was tied up to a char and I don't remember hearing, but I saw lips moving, and I know I told them something, but it wasn't what they wanted and so they dumped me into the water and I remember sinking and telling to myself:"Just let it go, it's OK, just let it go..." I don't know, I was thinking, I was born in 85, from my dream I looked as if I was 27-28, so if it really happened to me, I was reborn rather quickly and I don't know if it's possible, but somehow I think it is I guess the saying "From every rule there is an exception" works everywhere. I don't know how to explain it, but that dream made so much sense to me and even though it was about death, I was happy that I saw it. And I know that we are here for a reason and sometimes to see and to understand this reason you need to "pay your karma debts" first.
Happy Holly-days!
Anna 😉

I don't remember (or have dreams) about past lives at all. I wish I could... Is there a way to remember? (a type of meditation?) I don't even know if I've been reincarnated before. =/
(Thank you guys for answering my animal question!)

I hear a lot that animals can't be reincarnated. I think they can, though. My grandmother was told that one of her dogs was reincarnated and become another of her dogs.
I had frightening dreams about a past life, and when I went to get it checked out, she confirmed that I was, in fact, a Russian Jew who died in the Holocaust.
I think there are reasons for all of this but I don't think we'll ever know all of it. Which can be good. 😁

i have a friend who has been reincarnated about 19 times as she can remember. When we are bored I ask her questions about these past lives. I is so cool to learn about the 1800s and times that she can remember! Last night we were talking about how she was a mass murder in one of them. I was pretty freaked. She said she hasnt come back as an animal but she thinks its possible.

Alice_Newton... I don't know if you can come back as an animal... Some say we can... I am pretty sure that I have not... But I do feel a bond between certain animals and my self... This probably comes from many sources from reincarnation to daily interaction. But anyway I just remember a few key moments of past lives where a crucial decision was made or an event happened that changed not only the course of a past life but influenced a future past life... Karma sometimes takes a while and several lives to work out!

Hello Alice, I agree with Edmund... And Anne... And Yve... And pretty much all the rest of these comments.
Mainly that Yes, this is a good question!
As was mentioned, the Hindus believe (amongst other cultures) that you can come back as an animal, or indeed have been here before as an animal... Personally I would be tempted to investigate this wolf as perhaps being one of your guides, or relative to you as a person, ie; wolves, although they dwell in packs are quite independant creatures most of the time, are alert to the slightest signs of difference or indeed threat/ danger and can fight for themselves, they also will stick up for their family members with passion and conviction, maybe this sounds like you?
Obviously they are happy to wander off alone to explore and discover by themselves.
Concerning the initial point, my husband has the ability to judge old and new souls within people, and also roughly how old or new they are, never thought about this too much before, but I guess that's kind of admirable really isn't it!
He categorises them as " toddlers " ie; 1st, 2nd, 3rd time back, " Juniors " " Teenagers" etc etc... I have asked him in the past how he knows this, and (as vague as ever!) he says it's all in the eyes!
My son (aged 5) is an old soul, as too (obviously) is my husband, my daughter (aged ten) is brand new, and I'm old!
My Dad who recently passed, apparantly was a brand new soul and made it through first time... He was a thoroughly good man, though, and somehow he must've gotten it right!
There is an interesting book available which I was loaned by a friend which talks a lot about this kind of thing and in fact throws even more theories out there to discover and research, you should be able to get it on line and it is only very small and easy and quick to read... Personally had to read it 2/3 times though as initially it's a bit out there. See if you can get your hands on Doreen Virtues book called something along the lines of " earth angels, starseeds and walkins... " Will check in a mo what the title is exactly, but as I said, this does throw another angle on passed lives.
Peace,
See you on the flip ❤

Dear Rabbit - You think about the things I do, but you are less wordy and great at writing. I hope in your real life, you write a little. My thoughts tend to wander writing and I ask a lot of this site. Sorry. I'm a tough mom too. I'm very much a future, going into other places, astral voyages (flying) type person who is nearly fifty. One month. And a few days. January 9. If anyone doubts that astral voyages are real, don't. If it makes you more comfortable, then fine. I'm pretty easy going unless confronted and threatened. Confronted I don't mind; threatened doesn't sit well. You are asking about past lives. I think they exist. My personal opinion. We learn a lot going there, but it's harder than going future for me. Perhaps because the puzzle is tough. Being flexible and going to the past and the future probably is good. Not everything needs to be shared. Be careful. Learn to be quiet a lot. People in general, just can't deal with it. Not if you really see. Humor is good and food, everyone relaxes. You can hint without being so noticed. Of course being noticed is fun so go there if you want to and lay it on. Just remember to keep in touch.

Hi Alice... Reincarnation occurs for our souls to learn and we cannot experience everything in one trip. Animals have no lessons to learn, therefore they do not reincarnate.

Although some Eastern cultures may believe it, the species (humans, angels, animals) do not cross. Once we leave here for the last time, we either work as a guide, live on the upper level, or merge with God.

This is just my opinion.
Peace & blessings. 😊

I also have a question for anyone here caring to answer it. If it is possible for a person to be reborn then couldn't you have lived another life as an animal or something? I keep getting these visions now of a full moon valley. =/ I feel like a wolf. It keeps popping up in dreams... Is this possible?

Edmund what do you mean your fourth time back? How can you remember?

rabbit... Good question... How many times you come back is how far you want to develop spiritually or to help others develop spiritually... And if your very lucky you get to remember but a few moments of your past lives... This is my fourth time back... Well as far as I remember!

Our minds are infinite we all have an energy within us and depending on the person we can canal this energy whether its looking into someone soul, or seeing the future, the good and bad in people, or sensing another life that we lived. Energy can Never I mean Never be destroyed only transferred or reused.

I don't understand it either, wish I did. To me, the past feels like a comforting quilt because we survived it somehow and are now here. You want info. Well, I might be imaging this. I'm a southern female. I astral voyage. Once I was a Union Male and was shot in the neck, dying. I really felt bad because I was leaving behind loved ones, but I was soooo tired and just couldn't work up any regret, just wanting to go to sleep and be glad. Now, my neck has always bothered me and I had a scan done. I have a bone spur there. Perhaps my dream was me making up this experience to explain my pain. Perhaps it was more. The mystery is - we don't know. Now if we see something that happens the next day or in five days, that's a little harder to explain. If you want proof, go there. Challenge. I can't prove anything writing to you about dreams.

its quite interesting. This may not be true but it is what I believe in. There are many places I think of and I get this unusually familiar feeling. I have visited one of these places and realized its the same exact place I have dreamed of or thought of. I believe that our past is almost completely forgotten, but those who experience ESP remember traces left of our past lives such as knowing a place youve never been before.

my personal answer is that we werent finished our job on the earth and we just have more to give... I may be wrong but that's what I think. I past people in the street and think: iv seen them before even though I'm in this place I have never been to before.
Its kind of unexplainable

Hi... I think you ask the question that many of us ask all the time and never get an answer to. I don't have any special abilities to speak of, but I come here to read the stories because I am very interested in this kind of stuff. I have asked myself those same questions many times and have come to the realization that the only way I will know the answer to those questions is to actually experience it. I also believe that the answer is probaly vastly different for each person according to thier belief systems.

According to the Hindus, reincarnation has to do with karma. The accumulation of good karma you collect in this life has you go to a higher stage in life for example someone richer. But the amount of bad karma you collect in this life has you reincarnated in a lower life for example, a bug, or animal.

Of course that's what they believe, as do many but it doesn't make it true. You can find out more of this by google. Or take a world religions class very entertaining:P

Rabbit...Like AnneV said, ask 10 people and you'll get 10 different answers. I absolutely believe in reincarnation. In my dreams alone I've gotten clues to 3 of my past lives. None of us were complete saints in each and every past life we've lived. We all carry karmic debts/lessons to be repaid/learned.

We are in the Age of Aquarius now. Its time to take responsibility for our personal spiritual evolution. It is time to acknowledge our past flaws. Recognize that the negative actions aimed at us now are mirrors to show us our past behaviors. People may not like this concept, but to some extent we choose everything to happens to us before we are born (our family, etc). Forgive those who trespass against you, because they are actually teaching you. Lessons learned are not always pretty. Learn them and move on.

If your curious about your past lives and want to further your evolution, please read this awesome book and do the exercises... Discovering Your Soul Mission: How To Use Karmic Astrology To Create The Life You Want by Linda Brady. I saw it at the library and it just screamed to be picked up.

Peace & blessings. 😊

Rabbit,

You're going to get a different answer from various people because every religion has their own viewpoint as to what happens to you. Some will vehemently deny past lives while others think it's what happens (not to mention parallel lives!)

You can hear what people say but you also have to continue doing your own research. Go with what resonates with you and know that as you change so do your philosophies and beliefs. No one knows for certain about anything. What we know is based on our experience and that of others but there are a million experiences and some people will experience what feels like a past life, while others will die and go to a place that feels like heaven.

There are numerous dimensions and some resonate so high that it would appear like heaven. Scientist are also claiming now that parallel dimensions must exist and we live in many of them (think of a holographic universe).

As far as why you can't remember a past life, people can't even cope with what they've done in this one. We drag around our past, don't let go our issues, and therefore our lives would become unmanageable at our current state of spiritual development. As you spiritually develop, you're able to remember past and parallel lives and even get glimpses of higher planes. Can you imagine if you had been a German general and ordered the death of hundreds of thousands of Jews? I think you'd find it hard to concentrate on your current life without wanting to jump off a bridge.

People can also want to escape this life by focusing on what they used to be and glorifying some other time they lived in. The point is, we get much more out of our life when we live in the now. Be present with yourself and it will all unfold naturally.

Anne
