Out Of Body Encounter

One night in my sleep, I had a dream. The dream felt very realistic to the fact that when I was dreaming it, I also felt like I was actually really there. I can remember walking into a room, which looked like it could have been a library. There was a long table, and next to the table was a bookshelf. Sitting alone at one end of the table was a guy, and at the other end was another guy, and a girl was sitting next to him, and another girl was standing next to the both of them. The three that were together seemed to be engaged in deep conversation. When I had approached the table, everyone looked at me.

The guy who was alone at one end of the table seemed very intrigued by my presence, and didn't look away from me. The other 3 resumed their conversation after just a glance at me. I heard one girl ask the other two, "Do you want to go? Do you think we should go"? I looked at the guy who was sitting alone and asked, "Where are they going to go"? He responded with "Would you like to go"? I replied with, "Go where"? Then the guy reached out both of his hands to me from across the table and said, "Would you like to go with me"?

I remember feeling mesmerized by the guy as I leaned over the table and clasped my hands into his. At that moment, as soon as my hands were in his, I felt very much awake from the 'dream' and I started slipping into an out-of-body experience.

The paralysis took a strong hold on me, and I couldn't move. Sounds were magnified greatly. There was a buzzing sound going on around me, and at the time I remember thinking that it sounded like some sort of aircraft engine. I felt someone have a hold of both my hands and whoever it was, was trying very hard to pull me out of my body. I didn't dare open my eyes. All of the out-of-body encounters I have had in the past were beyond terrifying, and I did not want to see what could be around me. I fought off the out-of-body experience as I had learned to stop full projections. Sometimes it's a struggle for me to stop them, but this one was easier for me than past ones. Right after I felt in control of myself again, I opened my eyes and I was facing the living room. I saw two red lights that flashed twice, and then disappeared.

I sit here wondering if the guy in my 'dream' had wanted me to go somewhere with him. I wondered who he was, what he wanted and what would have happened if I would have let the projection take place. Does anyone know what this could mean?

Hi Brandy,
I have had a few out of body experience. However, one just scared me to death. It was a few days before my 29th birthday. I was having the feeling not to go to sleep. However, my eyes kept opening and closing I just cannot fight to stay awake anymore. Therefore, when I open my eyes the last time I notice the room had change, not the form or shape. Nevertheless, the color like it was darker but I could see everything. It was as if I had night vision. I started to notice all these shadows around me, maybe 13 to 15. By then I was hugging my husband's head holding on to him. Then it seems to have quiet next thing I knew I was looking into my eyes. I was so scared; I started to scream to the ceiling. That is when I saw my eyes they had fire in them. All I could do was pray saying repeatedly God bless me and when I wake up I started to God bless me, God bless this house, and God bless everyone in it. As I write this knows, something came, sit behide me, and was stroking my neck. I said do not touch me, But I feel it is a little girl, nothing evil. However, that night they are something in my room in my home that was and is evil. I hope God helps me guides me to the right path. Nevertheless, if anyone knows what I might have encountered, Please let me know.
P.S. My son Jordan just came in and done something that made me feel like the spirit did. He came behind me and while still standing in the bed he put his chin on my neck, to look to see what I was doing. I got a feeling that was what I felt before he done it. I have had a lot of experiences but, I have had no one to help me better understand what I encounter,

I expected experiences right away. This site is called astral voyages. That's what I want to know about - what did you experience? I just want to understand.

I also got in trouble a little. Not sure if we can "voyage" on our own, but knew that I'd overstepped. Didn't voyage for two months or so afterwards, thought maybe never again, but then did. My last one, I was in a really pretty, odd shaped building. I loved the odd art on the walls. My husband was in the ocean. He was younger and had a ponytail. I knew that he couldn't be aware of me there, but watched him laughing and splashing water. It was the ocean. His friends were with him. When I told him about it, a quick version, he told me that he did have a ponytail in college for awhile. I knew this of course. Not sure if it was a voyage or just a stupid dream. It felt real.

I once went on a voyage, think I wrote about it a long time ago, into a room of people. Most thought I was trespassing, but went to see one person in particular who was glad to see me, and worried because I'd gone there. These people were different from the ones who help me in my voyages. I didn't know whether to write this - it sounds weird even to me - but it's the truth. I got the impression that they were waiting and I'd made it just in time...

I was never told this - it was an innate, instinctual, I just know. You see them differently than people, those who are here or those who have passed. They look like people, but you know they are different, maybe more in a way.

The people I met weren't "people." I knew that if one held my hand, I wouldn't be tired. I started to ask one what would happen to me in the future, or did ask, and told him no, don't tell me, I don't really want to know. I never thought they were just folks who had gone on or died and were waiting. They are different.

I know exactly what your'e talking about, except the person's body I was in is now dead. (not by me of course!) I can't help but feel like that person needed my help, but it was too late. Anyway, after a while, it went away. I still have nightmares about, though.

Brandy1176... Its the dimension that is the nearest to ours. Its for those who haven't gone into the light for whatever reasons and are deciding if they want to cross or to basically hang out and find some answers... Its the spiritual version of a evacuation shelter for the more or less recently departed until you decide how to advance yourself spiritually... Its quite accessible to astral voyagers.

This voyage really made me think. I remember going on a "trip." Honestly, I went on my own I think. I don't think we need them to help us. I remember going into a room. There were about 15, give or take a few, people there. I went to one, a guy who I was thrilled to see though I knew that I'd never seen him. Others around him seemed a little hostile, like I'd overstepped my boundries. I said, "why?" and ignored them. He told me to be careful. He was careful about acknowledging me. It hurt my feelings a little, but I knew they couldn't touch me. It was uncomfortable, not in a he/she way, it was different, but I knew that I'd gone to a place off limits. My next voyage, I was careful to follow the rules. I get really frustrated following them though. I was a bit put out honestly at being told that I shouldn't go there. So, I decided to be a jerk and not voyage far. It's pretty satisfying. I like being close to home. I'm waiting for an apology I think. As a questioner, I can do that.

Coincidence? I did hold hands to fly because of fatigue. I got a frown at first, but then was told okay. My arms were sore when I woke up, for a couple of weeks. A week or two later, my hands broke out in a bad rash. The doc wasn't sure what it was, but that was months ago, and now and then they still break out a little. Right now my thumb and a few fingers are sore and have small places that just split open. I've gone to the doc several times 3 or 4, but nothing really stops it.

As a side note, I recently went on one and saw my daughter in another state. She looked thin and although I didn't see the other "person" visually, was talking to him or her. I told him that she was thin. I also didn't like her shirt, it was an orange mellon color, and ugly. She had on tight black shorts or something with it, couldn't see them clearly, but she looked thin. I started laughing, telling my person it was silly to worry about a shirt on a "trip." Later my husband spoke to my daughter. She admitted that she'd lost weight, down to 105. Then later I was on the phone with her and told her that I was thinking about buying a shirt, but not sure, it was a weird color, orange mellon like. I asked if she had one that color? She said no, then she said, well she had one a "salmon" color, orange pink like that she loved. She was wearing it at that moment. I asked if it would look okay with black? She said sure, that she had on a black pencil skirt, a narrow one, with it at that time (she was at work). Also I remember on the trip, I could hear her talking, but remember telling that person with me that I didn't want to eavesdrop and her words became blurry then.

Fascinating. I came on this site to learn about others' "trips." I use to think they were just dreams until went into two different planes and a little later there were crashes just as I had "dreamed." Then fought them off. This was in 2000. Let them happen again last year. I was once in a silly dream, trying to make myself wake up, when a young, preppy man showed up. I knew he was different, not a dream. I had a place I wanted to go and he told me to follow him so I did and went there. It was over land and I was trying to see details and got tired and asked to hold his hand which helped me be less tired. Once sat on the steps, in another one, and talked briefly with an older man. He felt nice to me, I kept patting him, but didn't know why. They call them "trips" and they are scary but fascinating and once I'm on one, I don't want to come back because they feel so freeing. There is a critical point, at least for me, when I have to decide yes, I'll go or no, I refuse. It's a choice. I've never seen a craft. Did ask if it was flying and was told no, vibrating which was embarrassing because then I realized that I knew this... But always have wondered if some kind of machine or craft was involved in some way. Once on one, my husband started sneezing, loudly, and I knew he was going to wake me up and I couldn't be awake and there and on my trip too - a connection. When he kept sneezing, went back inside myself.
