ESP Game as a Kid

When I was a girl, I would play a game with my friends called "You think?". I would have them think of an object or a number 1-50 or a letter or a person and I would hold their hands and stare in their eyes. If it was a letter or number it would appear in the corner of their eye. Objects and people where different, it wouldn't be a picture most of the times, it was the name of what ever it was, but on occasion it would be a full ghost image (transparent). They always thought it was cool and fun. None of us ever thought much of it and as I got older, I kind of grew out of it. Nowadays when I try it, I get people to think of memories or objects and it has gotten much harder, if it is a memory, I only see an object relating to it. Objects come in fragment of words. It makes me kind of sad. It was fun while it lasted.
