Before I tell you about my experience, I feel it's important to give a little background on myself that is pertinent to this event.
I have suspected I am at least modestly sensitive since I was about 12 because of an entirely different event, and I use the term "modestly" very precisely. Only every so often, maybe once a month I will for example finish a total stranger's sentence after they have only spoken two or three words, and usually along the topics of details about family, or something that happened to them in their past, things I shouldn't know about a total stranger or someone I just met. It's never really bothered me, most of the time I would shrug it off and they would be the ones left shocked or scared.
However, two days ago I had an experience unlike anything I have dealt with up to this point.
I was out cold asleep. The kind of hard sleep you would be having after sleeping only 5 hours the previous night, working an 8 hour shift, and then eating a big meal. I remember having a totally pointless but none the less amusing dream, something about driving through town with some friends, nothing significant. The part that has me writing in here is what woke me up from a dead sleep in the middle of a dream at 4:50am. The dream I was having was suddenly and completely undone, there was just black, and I could hear an unfamiliar young female voice that said "Oh my God, I see another!" When I heard these words they sounded as though they were being spoken through a window, and after I heard those words I remember feeling a massive wave of anxiety bordering on total fear and I remember feeling as though the source of the voice was moving closer to me and closer to a door... Like front door to a house and they were running towards it from outside, all while repeating, "I saw another, I saw another" in a very anxiously fearful way.
At this point I became fully mentally awake, but my body was still asleep and I was try desperately to force my eyes to open so I could get up. (the heavy sleepers reading this will know what I am talking about) as I finally started to come awake I remember becoming more and more aware of a strong electric tingling sensation over my entire body which left completely in the moments after I was wide awake casting wild stares around the room wondering what the hell was going on. I got out of bed, and went down stairs to find that no one else in the house was awake, so I checked outside. (it should also be noted I live on 40 acres of pasture well outside of the nearest town).
I left out the front door, and walked around the outside of the house looking for signs that someone may have been there recently, there was a heavy dew on the grass, and the only footprints anywhere in it were my own which told me there had not been anyone outside talking.
I am still trying very hard to make sense of what happened. There is one person that this event may have context for and I will be speaking to them later tonight, but outside of that I haven't a clue what happened.
