Deep Connection With Passed Musicians

I won't mention names of the musicians that I have this connection to, but I need somewhere to share it and also see if I'm a weirdo or this is a thing. I will start by saying I am a singer at my own free will, not famous of course, who just started to become a cover band singer. But frequently I sing in my walk in closet alone. It's with particular songs/artists, that this feeling of being connected at that moment, to the artists I am speaking of, comes over. It also happens at times when I listen to these musicians. All my life I have had this happen with one deceased musician in particular, but I am experiencing it for the second time with another who passed on a few years back. It's very odd, and I've never given into the feeling until tonight. I was sitting there singing as usual, and I felt this feeling that I always seem to get start creeping in. It made me stop what I was doing and look up what channeling is. I don't actually feel as though I'm channeling them per se, but more like they're almost trying to communicate with me. I listen to plenty of other dead musicians, that I have a deep love for, but this isn't a connection a fan makes to a musician, this feels likes it is beyond that. I have no prior experience with tapping into anything that I know of. With the first musician, this has been happening for over 10 years. I don't know what this is about, I'm not sure if my spirit is picking up on something. I really am looking more to see if this is crazy and if I'm alone, or if anyone else has ever experienced what I have.
