Green Glowing Eyes

I want to start off by saying that I have never seen anything like this before - which is why I am telling you guys this in hope that someone have had an encounter similar to me.

I was at my boyfriends family's apartment about a week ago, it was very late and everyone was sleeping but I couldn't so I went into the kitchen to have a smoke.

It was dark but not pitch black, the light from the kitchen fan was on.

Normally I don't take pictures of my face since I have low self esteem, anyway, I felt this weird feeling- as if someone was watching me or standing behind me, the camera on my phone is faced towards me and I take a picture over my shoulder (using Snapchat).

Before I can add a text to my snap I notice something on the picture in the roof corner of the room, it's green glowing eyes and a shape of body that I almost didn't see first.

It doesn't look like a human, more like a big cat or something.

I freak out and my entire body goes cold - turning around as fast as I can and there is nothing there. I turn back to save the picture and then I take another picture over my shoulder and I can see it again and this time I see it even clearer (unfortunately I didn't save the second picture, which I regret).

I put out my cigarette while asking myself if I'm going crazy, then I left the kitchen and went to the living room where my boyfriend is asleep on the sofa in front of the tv.

I lay down next to him but I can't shake what I saw.

About 2-3 meters away from the sofa there is a balcony door with a window on it, I look over there and I can clearly see a face of perhaps a leopard or jaguar?

A big cat with spots on and big glowing green eyes staring right at me (I have to add that I only saw the head).

This time I'm also scared but I couldn't look away for atleast five minutes.

I moved a little to my right to see if the eyes really were looking at me and not my boyfriend- but it was looking at me for sure.

After a few minutes I turn to the tv and try to ignore it, I didn't tell my boyfriend or his family.

Two days later I go home with my boyfriend and I tell him about it and show the picture- he could see it too (only in the picture).

I felt scared when I saw it but at the same time I was interested and I thought the eyes were beautiful.

I know that his family's apartment is somewhat haunted since windows can open up by themselves and we have all heard the sound of two children running around chasing each other as if they are playing.

Many things happens there, but nothing like this before.

I also decided that the next time I go there I will go to a dark room alone and see if I can connect with it again, I'll try to take pictures too if I can.

Have anyone else seen this thing or know anything about this?

I have been searching all over the web for answers but I can't find much.

Please share if you have had a similar encounter and if you have advice for me I'm happy to hear them.
