I can't pin point the very first time I had a psychic experience but I can recall one of the earliest occurrences. I was fifteen at the time (I'm now in my early twenties) and I was on a train with my cousin heading to the next town over which is a lot bigger than ours and had a lot more to do. The train journey only took half an hour or so but in that time my mind began to wander and eventually the image of an old copy of wind in the willows came into my mind and as the book was opened someone had written their name "Imogen" on the first page in green pen. We got to our destination and began wandering aimlessly through the town and soon came to a second hand book shop which had opened that day. It was my cousin who had picked up the copy of wind in the willows and It's hard to describe what I was feeling, slightly unsettled and a little nervous perhaps. The words had left my mouth before I knew it "Imogen in green ink" My cousin was understandably confused by the strange statement and opened the book. Sure enough someone had written that name in green ink. Once we left the shop I confessed to her that I'd seen it in a day dream and both agreed that it was too strange to think about and for a time we put it out of our minds.
For a couple of months nothing else happened and I put it down to a coincidence until it happened again. I was in school and attending a seemingly endless Maths lesson and so naturally I began to day dream and in the day dream I saw a burgundy T-Shirt with a lions head on it and something in the back of my mind or in the pit of my stomach told me that I should remember this because It was important. By this time I had told my best friend about the book so I informed her about the T-shirt too. That night a group of us went to the local bowling alley after school and one of my friends saw a group of people she knew and invited them to sit with us. One of the guys was indeed wearing a burgundy T-shirt with a lions head on it and my friend almost collapsed when she saw it. I got talking to this guy and became good friends, we began dating and we are now engaged.
After a while the day dreams stopped being just about me and those around me and I began to day dream about national or even international events hours, days or weeks before they happened. These were just two of the many times this has happened and now there is no doubt in my mind that somehow I can glimpse future events. I have no control over this and it just happens when it happens but recently it has gone from a one a month thing to three or so times a week and I'm here hoping someone has some advice they would kindly share with me. One thing I have been doing for the last two or so years is keeping a journal of my day dreams with dates on and I've been marking the entries if and when they happen or when I make sense of them.

Since then if I get these 'premonitions' I mainly keep them to myself as if people think you can do this, it goes two ways either 'funny farm' and you are having hallucinations. Or worst you become the Funfair medium in which you are asked to perform like a seal all the time. The thing is. If I am reading your story right. It is uncontrollable. It happens all the time. And by and large you tend to ignore it.
It could be two things. One: there is a spiritual guide that is communicating with you. Perhaps a departed love one and letting you know when an important event in your life occurs. Or it could just be the next stage of evolution for us as human beings. Whichever way you look at it. Find people who know about this and have a word with them. My turning point was when a friend took me to see a medium for fun and she actually said "Why are you coming to see me you are psychic and you know it." Keep in touch tell us what you find out.
