I've had quite a few experiences where I have had dreams that 'tell me' things. For example, it can be that I will encounter someone I haven't seen for a while, that I need to do a certain task, or people's past experiences. Something odd I've noticed too is that when I have a dream that ends up 'telling me' something, it always feels different. When I wake up, I immediately know that it is important and that I need to listen to it, even if I can't work out exactly what it means.
Ever since I was a child, I have been able to read people and take on their emotions. I can tell when I'm being lied to and I can tell when something is off with a person. When I was in high school I think I stopped listening to these cues because people would get upset/offended when I could tell what they were really thinking and feeling. But now I want to be able to notice these things more again and simply learn how to use it in a way that people don't find it frustrating.
Recently, I've had a very strong desire to improve my intuition/empathy and learn to pay attention to my unconscious mind. I'm looking to ask people for suggestions. Now that I have realized that dreams seem to be the main method of receiving information, I have decided to keep a dream journal, ask for helpful dreams and to remember my dreams. This has helped me greatly in the past.
If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated! I really feel the need to find someone to talk to about this for some reason.
Thank you for reading.
