Seeing A White Orb Above My Head?

This is my first story on this forum but after this experience I felt I had to share it and see if anyone else has had any similar experiences and give me some insights in to what it might have been. So I woke up on Friday the 23rd of December at around 7pm as I had worked the night shift the day before and I was outside on my street when suddenly I noticed this white orb whizzing around just above my head but I could see it out the corner of my right eye and every time I looked up to try and look at it, it disappeared. At first I thought I might be imagining it and didn't think anything of it it so I just got in my car as I was on my way to pick up a take away and then then same thing started happening inside the car. I know I said a white orb but it could have been a golden colour maybe. I can't fully remember which is a shame. It was fairly small but it just keep whizzing around just over my head but I could always see it just out the corner of my eye but every time I tried looking at it, it disappeared. I went home after picking up my food and then the same thing started happening in my living room where my parents and brother were. After about 10 minutes it stopped and it never came back. Can anyone give me any insight in to what it might have been and why it was buzzing around over my head? I wasn't thinking of anything particular at the time while this was happening either. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I was a little freaked out by the whole experience and I haven't told any of my family members in case they think am crazy.
