I've read many stories about people who can see auras on themselves and others, but I have yet to find one who has had the same experience as me. Most of the stories I've read involve people who look at people and when they look away they would see the shape of that person in a color. Personally I have never seen this but as a child I saw outlines around people (not full shapes of colors). As I looked at them there would be a very thin layer of color around the outline of their bodies. It would often be different colors for different people but I would always see blue around myself. As I grew older, about thirteen, I noticed I would see them less and less until it went away completely. My mom used to ask me to read her's and I would, I want to be able to see them again but I don't know how or even where to start. Does anyone know exactly what I used to see? Because its different from the other aura stories I've read.

That was most certainly the aura that you saw. I also see auras in an unusual way, namely with my eyes closed. I sometimes can see auras with my eyes open but it's much more of an effort for me and it may take long time for me. If you have the desire to regain that ability, with some training I believe you will be able to do that again - if that interests you.
