Last night, as I was leaving my brother's house and walking home, I saw a figure across the street. The street was well lit but the figure was not. It was a dark shadow shaped like a man and the moment I saw it I felt an empty, terrified feeling in my stomach. Initially I thought it was a man and that I should stay on this side of the street, but with a single blink he was gone.
I was still cautious and started walking home when he appeared again. This time he was less than a foot from me. He was featureless and terrifying. I left fear take control and I ran the whole way home, never looking over my shoulder. I barely got any sleep and kept the lights on all night, and when I woke up at 3 am he was standing at the foot of my bed for less than five seconds. The lights were still on and there was no mistaking what I saw.
A few hours later I discovered a sticky not with a strange symbol on it that I don't remember drawing, and I live alone. I have no idea what is occurring, and just in case it's related I'll tell you I dreamt of a forest fire for the few hours of sleep I got. The feeling this figure gave me was dark, I have never experienced that kind of panic and terror before. I'm not sure if it was the same figure those three times but it surely gave me the same feeling each time.
The symbol on the sticky note was strange, it had an almost triangular base with rounded edges and instead of a top point there was a circle. The circle had a sideways oval shape inside and lines protruding from its edges. Three lines went from the circle into the triangle, two were short and the third in the middle was longer and had another line attached to it, forming an upside down capitol 'T'. Eleven lines came from the circle outside of the triangle, two had a slight curve at the end and two had a curl at the end.
If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated.
