Eyes Changing Colors

For the first time in my life I was told something last night that I was not aware of or never have noticed before. My new girlfriend informed me last night that my eyes went from brown to dark black as we were being somewhat intimate and very passionate. She said it scared her and didn't know what happened? I was not aware of this as it has never been brought up to my attention before, ever. She thought I was turning into a killer or wolf! She was really spooked over this but never said anything about it until this morning. I felt really bad and very shocked at what she told me and kind of scares me as to the reason behind this. Are we reading to much into this or is there something I should know? I would really like to know what this means? My mom had medium powers and been told I have them too from her and recently when I had my cards read to me. She said that it's not uncommon for people with certain powers and abilities to avoid them. But never exploited it. I have a strong belief in that stuff and would also like guidance on what to do if I wanted to learn more about medium abilities and how to enhance it as well. Not sure if it is related at all as I have found different reasons why this could be happening online researches but nothing concrete or is this eye changing color a common thing? Hope this does not make me look like a fool. Is it just an intense passion thing or is there more to it than that? Thank you for your input in avdance. Would love clarification on this.Thanks
