A few years ago, I was in High School and it was my last on the swim team. I was at the block waiting for my team mate to finish her race. I stood there nervously and all of the sudden the sound of people cheering halted and I looked around noticing that everything has stopped. No one was moving, and I could see the water molecules in the air, I looked all around to see what was going on and saw across the room walking by on the other side of the glass, I couldn't tell who it was, but all I could see was them wearing a hood. Other than that, no one was moving, time has stalled for what seemed like 3 minuets. Afterwords the sound of people cheering came back and people started to move. Was this a cause of me stopping time or was it brain being nervous and making it seem like this happen? I talked to my parents about it and they responded to me that It happened, but I knew inside that they thought I was lying, even thou character of me to say something like this. Since then I have met other people with abilities as me, but has never noted that they could stop time. Also, since I was a kid I've been fascinated by time and always wanted to control it, kind of like the TV series "HERO", and would often look at the clock to see if I could change time, or swing forward and backwards in my seat to see if time could change. My favorite movie of all times is Back to the Future because time has always been interesting to me. After I met a guy named Eddie, from my last post he told me, that in another life, years ago, I could control time and that it was one of my abilities, he also told me that I did in fact stop time, but I wanted to see what y'all think? Did this really happen or was it just in my head from being nervous.

Hmm...its hard to say. Nerves can do that at times, it really would depend on how nervous you were. Scientifically, nobody can really stop time, even psychics. But things can happen in such a fast amount of time that it seems like it.

But, it is entirely possible that you entered a state of mind that can happen when your extremely nervous. The brain can sometimes go into overdrive, in which you are not actually slowing things down, but the brain is processing at a higher speed than your surroundings.
I've experienced it before while in my first spin out: One second I'm in control of my car, the next, I just knew I'd be lucky to get out alive. At that moment, time froze still; I perceived that everything stopped, just long enough for me to come together with a plan. As soon as I had my plan, time went back to normal.
