I am thirteen years old, and I think my house may be haunted.
I first moved into my place with my mom and step father three or so years ago, and I first noticed strange activity around my house two years ago. What I was noticing was things in my house disappearing, then reappearing in a completely different location. The thing is that when I asked my parents where they put something, they said they had not touched it. I kept pretending I forgot where I put it.
The activity had stopped for a while, but it started back up around a year and a half ago. I was watching Paranormal Witness before I went to bed as I usually did.
I fell asleep around half an hour later, but woke up at nearly four in the morning, sensing something was going to happen. This has happened to me before (the waking up before something happens), so I forced myself to stay awake.
Twenty minutes later, I heard the sound of glass shattering INSIDE MY HOUSE. My parents were asleep in their room and my two cats (one of them recently died) were with them, so nothing could have dropped anything. I felt like I was being pinned to my bed, I was so scared.
The weird patting started then. It was fast. It actually matched my racing heart, which had seemed to be racing a hundred miles a second. I was absolutely terrified.
The patting continued for around ten minutes, and the entire time, I was under my blanket, hardly daring to breathe. I was on the verge of screaming for my parents, but something was stopping me from speaking. I had absolutely no idea what was going on, and why it was happening.
After ten minutes, it had stopped. The strange thing is, even though I was awake and KNEW I was not imagining what happened, no broken glass was found in the morning. My mom thought I was watching too much Paranormal Witness, and banned me from watching the show. Each time I tried to tell somebody about this, they would tell me I was crazy.
One of the more recent incidents was when I was awake at around one in the morning. Around a year ago I developed insomnia due to continuously hearing and seeing strange things inside my house when I was home alone.
I was talking to one of my friends who knows about this kind of stuff. My parents were asleep (they fall asleep at around ten at night), so nobody was awake other than me. Now that I think about it, I am glad that I do not go outside my room at night.
What happened was I was about to tell my friend I was going to go to bed for the night when I heard this extremely loud bang from inside my house. It did not wake my parents up (they are really heavy sleepers), so I was the only one that heard it.
The sound seemed to be the door to either my attic or basement slamming shut. Since I never go into either area, I was terrified. Like the 'patting incident', I felt something pinning me. I physically FELT hands pushing me against the back of my bed. The weird thing is that, at the exact same moment, my friend that I was talking to saw something appear in front of him.
The final large incident I should note is the 'invisible stalker incident'. For the past six or seven months now, I have felt like something is always watching me. I keep seeing apparitions or something out of the corner of my eye - watching me - and sometimes find them physically following me.
I have found that this is only happening to me. My grandmother - who can sense spirits - has told us that our house is not haunted.
I have no idea why I am the only one who can sense this.
The thing about psychic abilities is that everyone that has them has differing ranges to their abilities. What is happening to you could be very real and it is possible that your grandma is only sensitive to certain things and this is out of her range.
There are some things you can do to get your power back. One is to visualize yourself pouring down a rain of salt all over your house. Go room by room. Start where there are the most problems. Salt clears and cleanses in all dimensions. If you can, sleep with a green night light. If you need to explain it, just say that the green light let's you see at night without disturbing your sleep. The reality is that the frequency of the color green is a deterrent.
I know from my personal experience that you are exhausted. I have gone through a lot of the same things you discuss. I have spent years trying to get the upper hand. One site that REALLY helped me (and it is free) has a prayer to cross over souls. Http://tinaerwin.com/crossing-over-prayers/
I wish you all the best.
