In December of 2012 I was living alone in NYC. One night I fell asleep on the couch with the lights on. In the middle of me dreaming I heard a calm voice say "Dominique, wake up something's coming up your fire escape." I opened my eyes and I didn't see anything (my lights were on) I tried to move my feet and they wouldn't budge, then my arms. Nothing. Once I realized I was awake but paralyzed I started panicking and began to pray. All of a sudden I felt vibration on the left side of my face and I became calm. Once I calmed down I heard and felt something whisper through me "GET READY". It immediately left out of my window because I saw my curtains move. I was then finally able to move. I wasn't scared, I felt shocked and amazed. Later on that day my Great Aunt passed of a heart attack, then 2 days later a guy I was datings cousin passed of cancer, and a week later another Aunt was in an almost fatal car accident.
Ever since the sleep paralysis event, I've been having very vivid dreams and waking visions, as well as hearing a voice but with positive reinforcements. The guy I was dating that cousin passed, ill name him X. There was a time when we weren't speaking and I had a dream that he was in a hospital bed unconscious and I was waving at him trying to get his attention. The next day I decided to contact him and asked how he was doing, he told me that he was hospitalized and just had surgery on his wrist. There's many more experiences that I'd love to share if anyone has more insight with what might be going on and X has been in a lot of my dreams. I'm not sure if I have a gift or if a spirit is communicating with me and if I'm spiritually tied to this man X. Does anyone have any advice or similar stories?
