This story may not to be considered psychic but it means something strange to me. I recently, submitted a story about a tragic dream and the actual outcome. However, this is just another candle on my cake. Not only do I dream things that come true, I feel that I lived in the past during the early 1800's. I felt so sure that a recurrent dream I used to have about the past was located in France and I was a french young beautiful woman with dark hair and full lips. Something about this dream made me feel like I belong somewhere else, I just could not put my finger on it. So, as time went alone, I grew up and stop dreaming this dream. However, I was really compelled to do my family research, but, being Africian-Americam, I knew it was a long tough road ahead of me. Well I started my research on my family back in the late 1990's and dabbled with it off and on. But, the feeling more so than the dream kept my spirit feeling like I was not living in the right place. So, after my children were pretty grown, I decided to spend my spare time during family genealogy. It took me almost 15 years to put the pieces together. During my research I found that my forefather came from Normandy, France born on March 2, 1667 and migrated into the United States in 1715 and settled in Culpeper, VA. He was a Huguenot that fled France due to the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre that persecuted French nobility for being Protestants. I know this sound crazy but I felt the spirit of my ancestors. So, I really start during more in depth research and found that I bear the same name and this man's mother "Renee" born in Rennes, Illle-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France. Is this just a coincident? By the way, I grew up with the pretty black hair and the full lips.
Recently, I drove through Virginia and decided to stop by the cemetery that my forefather was buried in. When I finally found the cemetery after searching two days, and trying to located the city, I felt a feeling of closure, like I put this ordeal to rest. There he was in a shallow grave that is 273 years olds and the tomb stone read " Here Lies John Jean LeaVelle" A Rvolutionary War Hero!
