Premonition?

A few weeks ago, something happened to me that I cannot get my head around and id love to hear peoples opinions on this. From a young age I have occasionally had experiences where I can think something is going to happen just before it does, and then it happens, but I never really thought much of it. However, a few weeks ago, my parents had gone away one weekend and my sister was staying in their house alone. She called me to ask me to stay with her because she didn't feel safe. Now my sister had recently been quite unwell in hospital and experiencing what we thought was paranoia, so I went to keep her company but thought nothing of it. I couldn't sleep at all that night. About 3am in the morning I went outside into the garden for a cigarette but whilst I was out there I had a really uneasy feeling that I was being watched. So much so that I opened the gate to see if anyone was there, but nothing. So I went back into the house, locked the door and went upstairs to bed. As I turned the lamp off, I put my head on the pillow and literally 3 seconds later I heard this almighty crash/bang impact that made me jump in my skin. The noise was so loud I froze, it can only say it sounded like a meteor crashing into the house and then I remember two distinctive bounce type noises immediately after. I didn't have a clue what it could be but it was so loud I thought my sister would have woken but she didn't, and the biggest thing was that my patterdale terrier was in the room with me and she didn't do anything. My dog usually barks and goes mad at the slightest noise so I know she didn't hear anything. Anyway I got up and looked out the window to the back garden and the security light was on but nothing there. So I thought it was weird but eventually fell asleep. When I woke the next morning, I remember going straight outside to see what it could have been but there was nothing anywhere that could of explained it. I told all my friends and family because it had felt so weird! Then, 3 days later my parents come back from holiday and in the following days something horrific happened. Around 10. 3:00pm one evening my parents and my sister were in the house and three masked men in balaclavas came through the back gate into the garden and threw a huge rock/boulder through the back door right at my father smashing the glass door to pieces. My mother and sister in fear, ran into another room trying to barricade themselves in whilst calling the police, and my father had these men threaten to beat him whilst they stole two sets of car keys, and all the keys to the house. Luckily they ran off it was a miracle they didn't harm my family but now they live in fear that these animals will come back. It has affected my parents for life. And whilst the police said this was a random attack, I can't get out of my mind the experience of the loud noise I had heard in the days prior to the event and the feeling that someone had been watching me there. Was this noise a sign telling me that something was going to happen to my parents at the house? Did I actually have some kind of warning that only I heard? I cannot put this noise out of my mind it was so distinctive and the fact that my sister had not felt safe that night. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?
